Story Time + Mindful Discussion (Thursday 4:00pm)

Free

Join us in the yard for a weekly storytelling happening. Sometimes it will be in a different language, sometimes there might be a game involved but count on a great story ALL the time. We have come together to curate a list of books to share with our community based on kindness, love, acceptance, diversity and humor. We would also like to invite members of the community to add to this list or even volunteer to read to us.

Thursday September 16 • 4:00 - 4:20 PM

Requires Membership. Sign up

Happenings

We are excited to introduce a new type of programming at Cocoon: Happenings! A Happening at Cocoon is an opportunity for all members to bond and partake in a variety of activities together as a community. Each week we will have new games to play, skills and events for the whole family to engage in. These events will take place throughout the week in our larger, open areas, allowing more room to space out. Happenings are mixed age opportunities that range from mindfulness and meditation to bilingual storytime. Unlike our classes, which are on a 6 week cycle, our happenings are “drop in”. This means you can choose to sign up for one week but not the next, come as you are and when you want. We can’t wait to see grown ups and kids spending time together in this new way!

Here’s what our members have to say

“I definitely wish I had this class a year and a half ago when I was pregnant the first time. But maybe I needed it even more this time.”

- second time mom, Theodora M.
