Each class is an explorative journey through the 4 seasons and is centered around community, connection, and growth. We begin each class by having a moment of purposeful reflection and shared presence with the community. At Cocoon, we love to use the outdoors and incorporate nature whenever possible. This means you will often interact with natural materials and even enjoy class outside sometimes- weather permitting.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY:

Our mission is to grow curious kids through playful, creative-minded activities that encourage independence and open-ended investigation. Our approach is rooted in the more holistic Reggio Emilia and Montessori methods, which incorporate mindfulness and take into account the minds, bodies, and souls of our Cocoon kids. In each class, caregivers and children experience academically- and developmentally-appropriate instruction designed to build community within and across families.

Here’s what our members have to say

“I definitely wish I had this class a year and a half ago when I was pregnant the first time. But maybe I needed it even more this time.”

- second time mom, Theodora M.
