Preschool Prep: 24-36mos

Free for members

This class was created to prepare your little one (ages 24-36 months) for school. During the 1.5 hour course, children will internalize routines, build confidence and be a part of their own community. The activities will closely reflect that of a preschool program by including art projects, story time and exposing children to the fundamentals of literacy and math. This is a “drop-off” class to allow children to practice separation from parents and caregivers. This course runs twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is offereed free for a limited time to the first 24 members who register for this upcoming season.

This event has reached capacity and can no longer be booked.

Details

Children will come together twice a week to share in a community meeting, play independently, learn from their teachers and from each other. Our Education Philosophy

Our mission is to grow curious kids through playful, creative-minded activities that encourage independence and open-ended investigation. Our approach is rooted in the more holistic Reggio Emilia and Montessori methods, which incorporate mindfulness and take into account the minds, bodies, and souls of our Cocoon kids. In each class, caregivers and children experience academically- and developmentally-appropriate instruction designed to build community within and across families.

Here’s what our members have to say

“Looking forward to a unique space opening in Tribeca that will provide community for all members of the family, holistic post partum and prenatal support and a curated, broad set of educational opportunities.”
